OK...on to the review!

This review will be slightly different than normal. One major difference is that I did not take any photographs while using this product, due to the sensitive nature of the intended use.

Ruby's Red Wash

So...what is Ruby's Red Wash, you ask? I use GladRags when I menstruate. I learned about Ruby's Red Wash from GladRags's FB page. Ruby's Red Wash is "The bleedin' obvious solution to menstrual stains!".

Here is Ruby's Red Wash's description from their Facebook page:

Ruby's Red Wash is a stain remover made just for women to deal with the problem of
menstrual or blood-stained clothing. It dissolves even dried, set-in blood. Quite simply, any
girl or woman who bleeds or has a period ever needs Ruby's Red Wash! You're never too
young or too old to make your life easier with Ruby's Red Wash!

Okay...before you start thinking, "But I don't use Mama Cloth. I use disposable menstruation products or I use a menstrual Cup."...there are many more uses for Ruby's Red Wash than just cloth menstrual pads!

How many of you have ever had your menstrual product fail you? Come on, raise your hands - all of you! I have never know anyone who hasn't had some sort of "leakage" issue where blood ended up somewhere other than on or in their menstrual product. Ruby's Red Wash can help you, too! It helps remove blood from clothing. So if you sprung a leak onto your panties, pants, sheets, etc...Ruby's Red Wash can come to your rescue and save your clothing!

How many of you cloth diaper? Guess what? Ruby's Red Wash is SAFE to use

on cloth diapers!! Ruby's Red Wash can be used on any kind of 'bodily'

produced stain. Works well on poop, vomit, etc. and can be used on carpets

and such too! Yes, on your carpets!

How many of you are helping your child learn to use the potty? How many

accidents has your child had on the carpet, the couch, in their car seat?

Ruby's Red Wash can help you!

Are any of you working in the medical field? How many times have you come

home with blood on your clothing? It happens, right? This product is for you,

too!

It's safe, non-toxic, contains no harsh chemicals, it's not tested on animals and contains no animal products.

It's also biodegradable- and therefore eco-friendly.

So...how much does it cost?

Ruby's Red Wash is an effective, safe, easy-to-use and biodegradable blood and menstrual stain remover for use on underwear, sheets, clothes and any other blood-stained fabric. It comes in liquid form and is sold in an 8 ounce bottle for $11.95.

Between using this product during two menstrual cycles and using it on a handful of Daniella's cloth diapers, I have used about half of the bottle.

How did I use it? I followed the instructions given.

What do I think of Ruby's Red Wash?

I think that it is a good product. It eliminated most stains for me. Other stains, it helped fade, but not completely remove. I plan to re-soak some of them and give it another try.

Overall, I think that Ruby's Red Wash is effective and I love that it is eco-friendly!

Oh, and I loved how easy it was to work with Carolyn behind the scenes! She is VERY sweet!

  10. I'd love to try this because I've just started using mama cloth to help with discharge during pregnancy (sorry if TMI). And would like to find some thing to help with stains once I start back with my cycle.
And I'm always on the look out for some new or 'better' cleaners for our cloth diapers.

    Thanks
