Review With Giveaway for Manna Organic Breads (Continental U.S. Only, Ends 11/26/12)

I contacted Manna Organics about 2 months ago and asked them about doing a review with giveaway and they quickly responded YES! :) I was able to choose 4 loaves of bread. I chose these varieties:

Banana Walnut Hemp

Carrot Raisin

Fig, Fennel & Flax

Sunny Sourdough

Each link given above takes you to the Manna Organic website's product page for each individual bread so that you can read what it's ingredients are, what ingredients it has shared processing equipment with, the size of the loaf, whether or not it comes pre-sliced, the cost per loaf, etc.

Sprouted breads are very different from typical breads. They are much more dense - almost like a cake or a muffin. While we enjoyed the flavors of the sprouted breads we received, it did take some getting used to as this was our first experience with sprouted breads. I will warn you that my 2 yr old did not take to them at all even though she loves muffins.

I did like the flavors but the texture took some getting used to. Like I said, this was our first experience with sprouted bread. I never "fell in love" with it, but I keep trying it! :) We keep in in our freezer, take some out and then refreeze it in between taste testing it :)

The sourdough bread on the other hand was a huge hit! My 10 yr old son was absolutely in love with it. I enjoyed it as well. My 2 yr old did not take to it much but like it better than the sprouted breads. However, she has been very particular about her foods lately so take her opinion with a grain of salt! :)

The Manna Organics website has some great features such as recipes, testimonials, and a FAQ section (which includes shipping information). Manna Organics are products that are made in the USA. :)

I love that they are organic, full of omegas and protein, and they are even Kosher Certified!

Manna Breads can be found in the frozen foods sections at most Whole Foods Markets and a lot of quality independently owned and operated health food stores nationwide. They are also available in Canada, usually in the freezer aisle as well. Plus, don't forget that you can buy them online at www.mannaorganicbakery.com - in fact, if you choose to make a purchase online, make sure to sure coupon code MANNANATURAL to save 20% off your order! - Valid until Nov. 28th, 2012 ONLY - so order FAST to save! :)

The winner of this giveaway will win the same four loaves of bread that I received!
