I contacted Twinkies Bowtique a few months ago about being a part of my One Year Blogiversary Celebration. I was so excited that she agreed to make a tutu dress for Daniella! I had a few specifications that I needed for it as I wanted Daniella to have it for a very special event - my niece's Bat Mitzvah, this past December.
We are Catholic so there were a few things I questioned my niece's family about as far as dress code goes in a synagogue. I was told that we could wear whatever we would ordinarily wear for church but that Daniella's and my shoulders must be covered. I also let Criselda know that we would be going to New Jersey and it would be cold there so if she could make it with sleeves, that would be great! She agreed to try, but it was her first time making sleeves on a tutu dress.
Daniella is in love with it! The blues look gorgeous with her blue eyes. She felt like a princess and received a million compliments about how adorable she looked. She danced her little heart out at the reception! The dress got a bit tangled from all of that dancing.
After she danced her heart out, we sat down to eat. I was so worried about her ruining the dress that I stripped her down - this is what she wore the rest of the time there!
Isn't it fabulous???
