Review with Giveaway for Scrappy Gifts (Worldwide, Ends 06/16/13)

Disclosure: I received a free product from Scrappy Gifts in exchange for my honest opinion about it. I was not required to post a positive review.

Scrappy Gifts has many wonderful items that she makes. I approached her about making something for Brandon's room. He is really into dragons and has been wanting something to hang on his wall with a dragon on it. I did specifically request a realistic looking dragon and not a cartoon-ish looking one. I also specified that the dragons not be scary looking so that Daniella would not be scared to go in his room :)

She did contact me several times throughout the process because she had a hard time with my request, which was very understandable. We had had a hard time with it too, which was why I request it, hoping for some help! :) But she was very kind and just kept me up to date constantly which was great!

Then one day, I received a message from her that included this picture:

She did explain that the stickers were small but that if it worked for us, she was ready to make it. I was thrilled that she found something and thought that Brandon would really enjoy that mixture with the knights!

It was only a couple of weeks and it was ready to be shipped. She sent me a preview with a picture of it with a water mark on it to approve it before she shipped. I thought that was a nice touch! Customer satisfaction.

Here it is! Doesn't it look AWESOME? I especially like that quote that is on it - "Every noble work is at first impossible." - Thomas Carlyle - very knightly! :)

Brandon was THRILLED when he laid eyes on it (I left it as a surprise - he didn't know that I had contacted Scrappy Gifts to make this!) He absolutely LOVED it and thought that it was very "big kid" (which is why I wanted realistic looking dragons.)

It looks great hanging on his wall under his dragon clock! I really like how the colors go well with his current wall color, too! (I didn't even tell her what color it was!)

I do plan to try to frame it (which could be hard because of how close to the edges some things are) so that it is a bit more bold and larger on the wall.

Brandon also really likes that it is magnetic! He selected a photo of his cousins to hang in his room so that he has them nearby :)

The craftmanship of the magnetic scrappy canvas is great! I check everything over well for fear that Daniella might try to rip something off and try to eat it. (Toddler are known for doing weird things.) Everything is applied super well.I am very pleased with this product!

Here is Scrappy Gifts's description of the scrappy canvas:
Comes in Regular or Magnetic. Holds a favorite photo or be creative and with the magnetic version to hold recipes, notes, schedules and more. Can order custom larger sizes - just message for a price with details of what you want. Included a sawtooth hanger on the back for hanging.
