Brushing Your Teeth With Real Natural Toothpaste - Redmond Earthpaste Review (Review with Giveaway, Ends 12/15/13, US Only)

Disclosure: I received free real natural wintergreen regular toothpaste and real natural lemon twist kids toothpaste for free in exchange for my honest opinion about them.

Redmond Earthpaste toothpaste is a toothpaste made using Redmond Clay. You may have seen a review I posted a few days ago about Redmond Clay bentonite clay. Redmond Earthpaste has bentonite clay in it.
I was diagnosed with gingivitis several years ago. I have had very sensitive gums for a long time. I would estimate it being more than five years. The number one thing that I have noticed since I began using Earthpaste is the difference in how my gums feel. They don't feel as swollen and they are most definitely less sensitive. Most days, I barely notice any sensitivity at all!

About four years ago, we made the switch from traditional store bought toothpaste (think Crest, Colgate, and the like) to a less traditional but still somewhat commonly found in stores fluoride free toothpaste made by Tom's of Maine. I did notice some changes after switching to a fluoride free toothpaste, but nothing like the changes since switching to Earthpaste (which is also fluoride free). I truly believe that the bentonite clay is healing my gums.

Even my son, who didn't care for any of the kids flavors of Tom's of Maine's kids toothpastes or the regular minty varieties and instead used Tropical Traditions fluoride free cinnamon toothpaste, loves the lemon twist kids Earthpaste! He is very particular about toothpaste flavors. I absolutely love the wintergreen variety myself. I saw on Earthpaste's Facebook Page that they recently came out with a spearmint variety. Spearmint is my favorite toothpaste flavor so I can't wait to try it out. Because I have noticed such a difference in my gums since using Earthpaste, I plan to be a life time user! Spearmint will be the first variety that I purchase.

Earthpaste is a non-foaming toothpaste that is actually edible. It is made of completely natural ingredients including purified water, xylitol, wintergreen/lime/lemon/tangerine essential oil, menthol, Redmond Real Salt, tea tree oil, and bentonite clay. Pretty plain and simple ingredient list, isn't it? You can even brush your teeth, gums, and tongue and then choose to rinse or swallow.

It is a much thinner toothpaste than the traditional varieties and takes a bit of getting used to because it does not foam up. But you will be glad you made the switch!
