The Clay of 1,000 Uses - Redmond Clay (Review with Giveaway, Ends 12/14/13, US Only)

Disclosure: I received free bentonite clay products in exchange for my honest opinion about them.

Redmond Clay is not clay like a product from Crayola. Redmond Clay is bentonite clay which has many uses, both internal and external. Take a moment and try to think about the softest thing that you have ever touched. I promise that Redmond Clay Powder is even softer! I cannot imagine anything being softer. The first time I touched it, I literally didn't want to stop!

Redmond Clay comes with a convenient flip top lid with a wide opening that makes it much easier to stick your hand inside. Which I have done countless times. I have applied the clay mixed with water to open wounds before going to bed at night and they were practically healed by morning. I also used it on a paper cut. Everyone knows how much a paper cut hurts. The pain was instantly gone! I look forward to taking some internally the next time I get heartburn (I have heard that it has a very nice taste) - not that I am looking forward to heartburn though!

Redmond Clay is an all natural bentonite healing clay that has been used for generations. Geologists tell us Redmond Clay is volcanic ash that was deposited in sea water long ago, where it would develop into a swelling-type sodium bentonite clay. Redmond Trading brings this “clay of a thousand uses” to market in its natural state with no additives, chemicals or preservatives.

I was a tad bit concerned when I saw that Proposition 65 warning label on the Redmond Clay, especially since we are trying to get pregnant. Read more about Redmond Clay's Prop 65 label here. Reading what I did at that link seriously allayed my fears.

My husband works long hours on his feet. He loves to soak his feet after a long day. Typically, he used Epsom salts. He was delighted to try Redmond Clay's Bath Salt Plus. This container lasted him for three foot soaks. He noticed that his skin felt smoother after using this than when he just uses Epsom salts.

How does Redmond Bath Salt promote better health?
Due to the abundance of natural trace minerals in our salt, Redmond Bath Salt provides healing properties for the skin and body. Toxins are released from the body into the bath water through osmosis, while trace minerals from the sea salt are absorbed through the skin.

Also with a convenient flip top lid that makes it easy to scoop some out and mix it in the tub.

The one thing that Michael did not like about the Redmond Clay Bath Salt Plus was the residue that got left behind after draining the tub.

Redmond Clay also makes a Facial Mud. This works incredibly well for my acne. I love how clean and tingly my face feels after using this. It really does a great job at exfoliating and giving my skin a true deep cleaning.

Redmond Clay Facial Mud is important to your skin’s overall health and well-being. Facial Mud helps clarify your skin, remove excess oil, shrink pores, draw out toxins, tone skin, remove impurities, and deep clean your skin. Redmond Clay Facial Mud is safe for all skin types.
