Another set of pages in the workbook.
We have primarily used these items from The Critical Thinking Co. as our math curriculum for this year. We have supplemented with two other items for Brandon so that he uses something different each of his five school days per week.
Here is what Brandon thinks about the Mind Benders Track & Field Championship for grades 3-6 -
I really like it because it makes me think. The game gives you a summary about what's happening and you have to fill in the chart to solve the problem based on the information in the problem. For example, if the problem says that Bob has two cars, one is blue and one is red, then you know that Bob doesn't have a yellow car which might be another answer. Base on if I answer the problem correctly or not, I can get  reward game, too, which are really fun!
This is what Brandon has to say about the Math Detective A1 for grades 5-6 -
I like it because it challenges me with a story and then math questions about the passage. Adding money, positive and negative numbers, things like that are covered.
Here is Brandon's thoughts about the Balance Benders workbook-
This is generally easy for me but I like that it is preparing me to understand algebra.
Here's Daniella's thoughts about the Mind Benders Track & Field Championship for grades Prek-K -
It's good. I like doing the colors in the box to answer the questions. I like this math game.

Here's Mom's thoughts -
I think that overall these software programs have been challenging for the kids. I really like real life math problems and these seem to mostly be that way. I like that the workbook is helping prepare Brandon for algebra. What I like the most is that my children are enjoying learning math. Math is my hardest subject. So to see my children enjoying AND understanding math is awesome! For the Prek-K level game, I especially liked that Daniella doesn't need to know how to fully read to play it. She can click on the little speaker icon and the game  reads the question/problem to her!
